Who Am I?

Hi! I am Mark and I’m an architecture and photographer originally from Scotland but living in Amsterdam. I love to tell stories and capture the connections between buildings and their environment in an honest way. My background is as an architect and was lucky to work for some amazing practices such as Sarah Wigglesworth Architects, Duggan Morris and Mikhail Riches. Although I dont work in the industry any more, architecture is still a passion.

I love to travel, and my photography work is no exception. No destination is out of reach.

Why am i Different?

What is different from others is the way I approach photography. I shoot projects collaboratively and aim to capture something of a sense of place and the connection of users with their environment.. What interests me most in the projects I shoot is how they form a backdrop to lives of the users. I really believe in telling true and honest stories and that's what I try to capture. I appreciate where there is a story to be told and try to elicit this as much as possible from all my clients.
