It was great to do the architectural photography the new energy centre in Greenwich, London, Designed by CF Moller and Conrad Shawcross. The perforated and faceted facade shines brightly in the sky reflecting the colour and warmth of the sunlight from all around and makes for some amazing skyline shots.
I was contacted by Marathon Fund in the UK to make some new architecture photography of a couple of their properties in Amsterdam so that they could rebrand the sites and attract more interest in rental of the properties. One of the properties is a tower in Hoofdorp, the other a being some office units in central Amsterdam. The brief was to show the projects and their context in the most beautiful way. Here are the results.
I was contacted by Alison Brooks architects in London to photograph some headshots for them. Alison has a great character and want to put forward a strong image for her personal headshot. I loved the result in the end and it really was a pleasure to work with the practice to give a signature look to their images. .
And here below is one that didnt make the cut but I love it.
After shooting the Richmond Adult Community College for Duggan Morris Architects, I was asked by Architecture PLB to photograph the new technology building at Merchant Taylors' School. The architecture photography was intended to show the building in its context and its relationship with the existing red brick school. The new structure of cross laminated timber and brick is stunning and pays close attention to the sensitivity of the existing. Here are a few shots from the shoot.

WOW! I was excited to be asked by Wolfgang Buttress to photograph the UK Pavilion at Milan Expo Last year. You can see that HERE. This year The HIVE is back. This time at KEW GARDENS, London. Its just impossible to explain the experience of the installation, its just so atmospheric and almost conjures a dreamlike state. For me at least. Its just magical. So when I was asked to come to Kew to photograph it again this year I jumped at the chance. Thinking of the experience on the run up to the shoot I imagined the energy of a hive, and the beautiful drawings and watercolours by Wolfgang and wondered how I could represent these elements in a photo. Its so tough. You can only visit for yourselves. For now here is a taster from last weekend's shoot. More to come really soon.
