What an amazing piece of engineering in construction. Even more amazing was the infrastructure that was in place to build it. All around the site on either side of the Ganges were dozens of temporary homes of all the families who had come to work on the project. Parents worked and kids played on the banks of the river. It struck me how together everyone was and how friendly. This is normal life for the bridge families.
